Statement of Philosophy
St. George Catholic School- staffed by dedicated professional teachers- strives to provide an environment in which students can attain their full, unique and individual potential.  As they continue the life-long learning process, students are enabled to become effective, contributing members of the world community to which they belong.

In addition to the formal presentation of Catholic doctrine, students are provided with opportunities for participation in school liturgies, prayer, and service projects.  It is hoped that these experiences will instill in the students a knowledge of and commitment to the value of their Judeo-Christian heritage.  Basic skills- academic, physical, and social- are taught in a way that fosters self-discipline and love for learning.

Respectful cooperation among parents and school staff members provides models of Catholic kingdom-building and of the democratic process.  Students are thus encouraged to continue in the future the attitudes and skills in which they are schooled and to which the St. George community is dedicated.
